Photos at Cork Oak Plantation

I met Jen and her two boys in the late afternoon for photos at the Cork Oak Plantation at the Arboretum in Canberra. There is something quite special about the bond between two little boys and their mummy.  And photographing these brothers and Jen, with their mischievousness and adorable love that they have one another was really special.

I was super delighted to hear what Jen had to say about her experience.

Here’s what Jen had to say about her experience:

My experience with Little Grasshopper photography was really relaxed, fun & free with my two young boys. We met for the shoot outside of the Old Cork Oak Forest at the Arboretum, which admittedly I drive past on a daily basis but had no idea was even there! My boys were able to explore the forest, look for spiders, throw leaves, hide amongst the trees & play with me! It was lovely & casual and it was nice to receive unconditional cuddles from my spunky two boys. The photos capture their inquisitive personalities & the most beautiful part…..their bright blue eyes! It was also nice to be in some photos that didn’t involve a selfie from my phone. Thanks Little Grasshopper photography for a memorable afternoon.

The Cork Oak Plantation at the Arboretum is beautiful. It’s provides a lot of shade and coverage from the sun so it’s great when you need your session to be earlier in the day. It also works well when the sun is going down as the light filters through the back of the forest creating some stunning sun beams.

You should defintely take the family there for a picnic. If you’d like to arrange for a session at this plantation or would like to chat about other locations around the Arboretum, get in touch! We can plan and customise your session to suit you and your family.
